About Me
Lee Milliken, MNursPrac, MMHN, BN
Founder & Lead Clinician – Soul Care NP Services
With over two decades of nursing experience, including 16+ years dedicated to mental health, I bring both clinical expertise and heartfelt commitment to every client I support. As a Nurse Practitioner specialising in mental health and neurodevelopmental care, my practice is grounded in compassion, cultural safety, and evidence-based interventions designed to empower individuals across the lifespan. I hold dual master’s degrees in Nurse Practitioner and Mental Health Nursing, alongside extensive clinical experience spanning acute inpatient psychiatry, consultation liaison across medical and surgical wards, and community-based recovery services. My scope includes independent assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, and collaborative care with consultant psychiatrists when needed. Beyond credentials, my work is deeply personal. I believe mental health care should feel safe, affirming, and accessible—whether you’re a young person navigating academic pressures, an adult managing complex diagnoses, or an older individual seeking clarity and support. I have a particular interest in perinatal mental health, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and the intersection of physical health with emotional wellbeing. Soul Care NP Services was created to bridge the gap between brief GP visits and long public waitlists. Here, clients find timely, personalised care that honours their story and provides practical pathways forward. Every consultation is designed to be transparent, inclusive, and empowering—because everyone deserves care that recognises both their challenges and their strengths. Core Values: Compassionate, trauma-informed practice Inclusive support for all sexualities, genders, cultures, and abilities Evidence-based care tailored to individual needs Clear, audit-ready documentation for collaborative continuity Philosophy: Mental health care is not just about treatment—it’s about connection, clarity, and empowerment. My role is to listen, guide, and walk alongside you as you take steps toward healing and growth.
